Argentina takes you on a roller coaster ride from its magnificent mountains to the vast stretches of its pampas, from the cobblestone streets of its dazzling cities to narrow paths going through its enchanting forests. Across the country, you will witness the love and passion for football. You will hear stories of the legendary gaucho culture. You can watch and learn the passionate dance form of Tango, which is Argentina’s gift to the world.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Buenos Aires

Touchdown in Buenos Aires International Airport. Our on-ground coordinator will receive you and transfer you to your hotel.

Overnight stay at the luxurious 4-star Reconquista Garden in Buenos Aires.

 

Day 02: Explore Buenos Aires

We start the day with a hearty breakfast.

Today, we explore the vibrant city of Buenos Aires.

We begin the city tour with a history lesson on Buenos Aires as we walk through the Plaza de Mayo that witnessed the most historical events of Argentina.

Next on the list is San Telmo, the oldest residential neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. Here, you can walk along cobble-stoned streets and discover antique shops and picturesque buildings.

We head to the colourful, upbeat neighbourhood of La Boca and walk along Caminito Street as we enjoy the bold street art and performances.  We will also visit the stadium of La Bombonera, the home of Boca Juniors.

We then head to the Madero Port outlined by the ever-growing skyline of Buenos Aires.

We pass through the Retiro neighborhood, head to Palermo, and explore its most exclusive residential area.

Next on the list is one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world, Recoleta. Intricately designed grand tombs, carved with angels make you feel that there is beauty in death.

Here in Recoleta lies Eva Peron, lovingly called Evita. She was a legendary figure in Argentine politics and fought for women’s suffrage and improving the lives of the poor.

In the evening, we head to Aljibe for dinner and Tango. Here, you will experience the true spirit of Argentina through its gastronomy and music. This dazzling evening brings alive Carlos Gardel’s tango, Buenos Aires, La Reina del Plata (Buenos Aires, the queen of silver).

Day 03: Explore Buenos Aires

Today, post a hearty breakfast, you have the day at leisure to explore the city on your own.

Alternatively, you can opt for a Full day tour of Gaucho at the Santa Susana Ranch1. Gaucho is a skilled, usually nomadic horseman, who is brave and unruly. Gaucho is very symbolic to Argentine culture. In simple worlds, Gaucho is to Argentina what cowboys are to America.      The Santa Susana Ranch is a humid pampa and one of the most fertile natural prairies in the world producing best quality beef and cereals. Followed by a warm welcome into the ranch, you can experience the Argentine countryside through their food as you will be served their typical national asado, empanadas, and wines. Here, you will learn of a charming hundred-year-old rural tradition in the midst of the 21st  century and revel in their folk songs and dances, equestrian activities, and unbeatable shows of traditional gaucho skills, such as ring races, cuadreras (horse races), entrevero de tropillas (horse games).

Day 04: Arrival in El Calafate

Today, post breakfast, we head to the airport to catch our flight to El Calafate.*

Upon your arrival in El Calafate, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 05: Explore Perito Moreno

We start the day with a scrumptious breakfast.

Today is all about experiencing the majestic natural wonders of South America. We head 80 kms away from El Calafate to the only advancing glacier in the world, Perito Moreno. The glacier is located within Los Glaciares National Park, a 600,000 hectare protected area covered by an ice mantle.

Our tour of the park starts by going through the lush Patagonian Andean forest. We arrive at the Curva de los Suspiros or the Curve of Sighs, where you can gaze at this enormous glacier. As you look at this magnificent piece of art curated by nature, you can’t help but be overwhelmed by its sheer beauty.

You can also opt for Safari Nautico wherein in you can sail in front of the Perito Moreno glacier.

Day 06: Day at Leisure

Today, post breakfast, you have the day at leisure to explore El Calafate on your own.

Alternatively, you can opt for a Full day excursion to the Nibepo Aike Ranch3

Day 07: Arrival in Puerto Natales

We start the day with a scrumptious breakfast.

You will be transferred to the bus station to catch your bus from El Calafate to Puerto Natales in Chile.

Upon your arrival, our on-ground co-ordinator will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Puerto Natales.

Overnight stay at the luxurious 4-star Hotel Costaustralis in Puerto Natales.

 

Day 08: Explore Torres del Paine National Park

Post a hearty breakfast, we head for an excursion to the Torres del Paine National Park. Encompassing mountains, lakes, rivers and glaciers, this national park is as picturesque as it gets.

As you enter the park, dozens of lagoons covered with grasses and aquatic birds greet you. From the emerald green waters of the pristine Nordenskjold Lake to the bustling Salto Grande waterfall, Torres del Paine allows you to connect with nature. Gazing at the Paine Mountain range and the French valley, you are reminded of the magnanimity of nature.

This excursion is a truly rejuvenating experience and leaves you with memories of a lifetime.

Post the excursion we head back to the hotel.

Day 09: Arrival in Santiago

Today, post breakfast, we head to the airport to catch our flight to Santiago.*

Upon arrival in Santiago, our on-ground coordinator will receive you and transfer you to your hotel.

Overnight stay at the luxurious 4-star Plaza del Bosque Ebro in Santiago.

 

Day 10: Explore Santiago

We start the day with a hearty breakfast.

Post breakfast we explore the cosmopolitan city of Santiago that effortlessly blends modern and ancient.

The city tour takes you through key landmarks such as Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Post Office and the Municipality of Santiago.

We will then head to the Government Palace and walk through some of the most traditional streets and neighborhoods of Santiago.

Next on the list is the eastern part of the city where we look at some of the modern structures that have transformed the city.

For wine connoisseurs, the optional tour of Concha and Toro Winery is the perfect way to experience the wine culture of Chile. This tour takes you to the Pirque Valley, where the renowned vineyard is located.  Founded in 1883 by Melchor Concha and Toro with vines brought from the region of Bourdeaux, France, it is home to some of the most popular wine brands in the world.

We will visit the distinguished house surrounded by a beautiful park designed by a French landscapist as illustrated on the label of some Concha & Toro wines. One of the most notable aspects of Concha & Toro is that is a global company where the tradition and innovation are mixed perfectly. This vineyard is internationally acclaimed for its brands, particularly, "Casillero Del Diablo" and “Don Melchor”.

Day 11: Departure from Santiago

Today, post breakfast you have the day at leisure before you catch your flight back home.

You can opt for a tour of Viña del Mar and Valparaiso. For this tour, we depart from downtown Santiago, towards the coast crossing the fertile Curacaví and Casablanca Valleys, with their beautiful vineyards, fruit tree farms, and forest reserves. En route, we will visit the two major cities of the country: Viña del Mar, Chile's main seaside town and Valparaíso, a port city founded in the sixteenth century and declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The tour also takes you through the National Congress, Parque O'Higgins, Parque Italia, Plaza de la Victoria, Plaza Sotomayor and Muelle Prat Wharf located at the port of Valparaiso.  We then visit the La Sebastiana House-Museum of the famous Chilean poet, writer and Nobel Prize Literature winner, Pablo Neruda. We will visit the elevators – cable cars that take you to the peaks around Valparaiso with amazing lookouts – miradores – offering views of the city. Cerro Alegre-Cerro Conception, Sotomayor Square, Naval Heroes Monument, and Paseo 21 de Mayo at Cerro Playa Ancha are just a few sites you will see.

Viña del Mar, also known as the ‘Garden City’, has 300,000 inhabitants and is the country's main beach resort. Past and present intermingle in this bustling tourist centre. Here, you will visit the Flowers Clock, Quinta Vergara, Muelle Vergara and the casino, before your guide takes you for a drive along the coast to Reñaca Beach.

Post the tour, you bid farewell to South America and head to the airport to catch your flight back home.

As an Agent, Al Majid Travel & Tourism LLC arranges travel experiences and transportation with a large number of suppliers in the United Arab Emirates and around the world. These suppliers provide the following list of services.

Each of these suppliers will have their own individual terms and conditions that will be explained to you prior to the booking being made. Copies are also available upon request.
 
BOOKINGS
 
A booking will only be made if the lead name in the booking is aged 18 years or older. The lead name assumes full responsibility for ensuring that all members of the travelling party accept the supplier’s terms and conditions. This person is also responsible for ensuring that all requested information is 100% correct. Failure to do so may result in the booking being rejected by any of the suppliers with no refund on any applicable cancellation charges. The information generally required includes the residency for each individual member of the party as well as the correct spelling of names, title, sex and age as per their passports.
 
PASSPORT, VISA & HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
 
It is the responsibility of the lead name to provide current copies of all passports for the party and to notify us if any member of the party has a passport (or UAE residence visa if applicable) due to expire with  6 months of the arrival back in the UAE post-travel. You must check visa and health requirements prior to confirming your travel arrangements, including transit visas if your flight in not direct. If a booking is made and confirmed at any time prior to visas being granted, this is done at your own risk. Neither we nor our suppliers accept any responsibility for either denied boarding or denied entry to a country for any reason, not limited to non-compliance of passport, visa and health requirements.
 
We recommend that you contact your Doctor or Medical Centre for the latest inoculations and malaria medication. We strongly advise pregnant woman and young families to avoid countries where malaria is present.
 
A booking can only be made once the deposit or full payment has been received. All bookings made within 12 weeks of departure will be subject to full payment. All services are subject to availability at the time of booking, which may differ from the time of quotation. Prices are also subject to change and cannot be guaranteed until payment has been received and the booking confirmed. For air travel, this means tickets issued. For hotel bookings, this means accommodation vouchers issued. It is important that all vouchers are read carefully for additional supplier information.
 
PRICING
 
We offer you the flexibility to create your own holiday from the range of accommodation, airlines and other services available. Because of this wide choice, it is not possible to list every price on every date. A ‘from’ price is indicative of the lowest price available for the hotel or itinerary featured but this may vary depending on a number of factors such as your date of travel, number of people sharing a room, choice of accommodation and airline availability.
 
The rates at some hotels may vary depending on your residency and therefore it is important that you confirm the residency and nationality of everyone travelling at the time of quotation.
 
All prices are subject to availability and final confirmation from the supplier. Certain airlines permit us as their agent to hold reservations for a certain amount of time without tickets being issued. It is important to note that in these instances, the fares are only guaranteed until 2359 that day and we are not liable in the event of an increase. We, therefore, recommend that tickets are issued on the same day as the reservation. Some airports charge a departure tax, which is payable locally. These charges may not be claimed back from us.

AMENDMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
 
All flight timings are provisional and subject to change. However you will be advised in advance of any major change as per your supplier's booking conditions. Only in extreme cases will an airline offer a full refund or date change should you not accept the change. On occasions your supplier may find it necessary to alter your any aspect of your holiday. Their policy regarding alterations is set out in their booking conditions.
 
Should you find it necessary to cancel or amend your holiday, please contact us without delay. Cancellations and amendments require written confirmation by the lead name in the party. Prior to making any changes, please verify any charges bearing in mind that these generally increase the closer you get to departure. In most cases, late cancellation will result in 100% charges.
 
TRAVEL INSURANCE
 
We strongly recommend Travel Insurance as protection against financial costs or losses in connection with medical treatment and travel inconvenience i.e. cancellation or curtailment and delay, damage or loss of baggage/personal effects.
 
GOVERNING LAW
 
Any matters that arise between you and us are governed by the laws applicable in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is also conditional on your agreement that any dispute that arises between you and us will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Dubai, except that we also we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these terms and conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country.
