Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
 
Meet our representative upon arrival in Delhi and check-in at the hotel. India's capital & a major gateway to the country, Delhi is contemporary and a bustling metropolis which successfully combines in its fold the ancient & the modern.
Its strategic location was one of the prime reasons why successive dynasties chose it as their seat of power. New Delhi also reflects the legacy the British left behind. Overnight in Delhi.
 
 
Day 02: Drive to Shimla (366 kms / approx. 8 hours)
 
After breakfast, drive to Shimla - abounds in natural bounty and looks picture perfect. The small hill station amidst the lofty snow-clad Himalayan ranges, surrounded by lakes and lush green pastures look as though an artist has painted them.
The unique thing about Shimla is that it still retains its colonial charm. Check-in at the hotel and spend evening at leisure.
Dinner and overnight stay in Shimla.
 
 
Day 03: Trip to Kufri
 
Drive to Kufri after breakfast. This is a popular picnic spot located 16km from Shimla. You may hike on foot to the Mahasu Peak or pay for a mule ride up the hill. Mahasu is the tallest peak in Kufri that gives tourists an amazing view of distant snow-capped peaks.
Return to the hotel in the afternoon. In the evening, take a walk on Shimla’s famous boulevard, Mall road & scandal point.
See fine specimens of colonial architecture, snack at the various eateries in the market or shop for souvenirs. Dinner and overnight stay in Shimla.
 
 
Day 04: Drive from Shimla – Manali (260 kms / approx. 7 hours)
 
After breakfast, drive towards Manali – Offers super views of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges, and with mountain adventures beckoning from all directions, Manali is a year-round magnet for tourists.
Apart from temples, Manali is popular among adventure tourists coming for trekking, paragliding, rafting and skiing.
Check-in at the hotel and spend evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Manali.
 
 
Day 05: Sightseeing in Manali
 
In morning after breakfast, go on an adventurous drive to Solang valley – a major attraction, without which the trip remains incomplete. All above mentioned adventure activities can be availed here at Solang Valley. Apart from activities, there are splendid views to enjoy in and around the Solang Valley.
Later, today visit popular Hadimba Temple, Naggar Castle and Art gallery. In the evening, go for a walk along Mall Road. Dinner and overnight stay in Manali.
 
 
Day 06: Day at leisure in Manali
 
After breakfast, enjoy full day at leisure in Manali. Alternatively, you may explore the destination offering numerous adventure sports and other places of interest. Dinner and overnight stay in Manali.
 
 
Day 07: Drive from Manali – Chandigarh (320 kms / approx. 6.5 hours)
 
After breakfast, drive towards Chandigarh and check-in at the hotel. If time permits, visit Nek Chand's Rock Garden which consists of man-made interlinked waterfalls and many other sculptures that have been made of scrap & other kinds of wastes materials. Overnight stay in Chandigarh.
 
 
 
Day 08: Drive from Chandigarh - Delhi (260 kms / approx. 5 hours)
 
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi. Spend rest of the day at leisure. (Optional) - Attend a Sufi ceremony at Nizamuddin Dargah).
Return back to Hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
 
 
Day 09: Departure from Delhi

Monuments Closed On Shimla & Kangra State Museums /vice regal lodge & Roerich Art Gallery/Naggar remain closed on Mondays. All Govt. Holidays, Zoo in Kufri also remains closed on Mondays. Hotel check in 1400hrs and check out 1200hrs. Hotels will provide extra bed / mattress as per availability for extra adult sharing double room. Package cost will not be valid from 20th December 2017 – 10th January 2018. Also on public holidays, festivals, exhibitions and long-weekends. A surcharge will be levied and will be advised at the time of booking.

As an Agent, Al Majid Travel & Tourism LLC arranges travel experiences and transportation with a large number of suppliers in the United Arab Emirates and around the world. These suppliers provide the following list of services.

·         Scheduled, Low Cost and Charter Airlines

·         Hotels, Villas, Apartments and Guesthouses

·         Package Holidays

·         Self-drive and chauffeur-driven car hire

·         Airport, Port and Resort Transfers

·         Luxury and Standard Rail Transportation

·         Ocean, Fjord and River Cruises plus Shore Excursions

·         Individual and Group Tours

·         Sightseeing and Attractions (including Theme and Water Parks)

·         Live Shows

·         Travel Insurance

·         UAE and International Visas

Each of these suppliers will have their own individual terms and conditions that will be explained to you prior to the booking being made. Copies are also available upon request.

BOOKINGS

A booking will only be made if the lead name in the booking is aged 18 years or older. The lead name assumes full responsibility for ensuring that all members of the travelling party accept the supplier’s terms and conditions. This person is also responsible for ensuring that all requested information is 100% correct. Failure to do so may result in the booking being rejected by any of the suppliers with no refund on any applicable cancellation charges. The information generally required includes the residency for each individual member of the party as well as the correct spelling of names, title, sex and age as per their passports.

PASSPORT, VISA & HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

It is the responsibility of the lead name to provide current copies of all passports for the party and to notify us if any member of the party has a passport (or UAE residence visa if applicable) due to expire with  6 months of the arrival back in the UAE post-travel. You must check visa and health requirements prior to confirming your travel arrangements, including transit visas if your flight in not direct. If a booking is made and confirmed at any time prior to visas being granted, this is done at your own risk. Neither we nor our suppliers accept any responsibility for either denied boarding or denied entry to a country for any reason, not limited to non-compliance of passport, visa and health requirements.

We recommend that you contact your Doctor or Medical Centre for the latest inoculations and malaria medication. We strongly advise pregnant woman and young families to avoid countries where malaria is present.

A booking can only be made once the deposit or full payment has been received. All bookings made within 12 weeks of departure will be subject to full payment. All services are subject to availability at the time of booking, which may differ from the time of quotation. Prices are also subject to change and cannot be guaranteed until payment has been received and the booking confirmed. For air travel, this means tickets issued. For hotel bookings, this means accommodation vouchers issued. It is important that all vouchers are read carefully for additional supplier information.

PRICING

We offer you the flexibility to create your own holiday from the range of accommodation, airlines and other services available. Because of this wide choice, it is not possible to list every price on every date. A ‘from’ price is indicative of the lowest price available for the hotel or itinerary featured but this may vary depending on a number of factors such as your date of travel, number of people sharing a room, choice of accommodation and airline availability.

The rates at some hotels may vary depending on your residency and therefore it is important that you confirm the residency and nationality of everyone travelling at the time of quotation.

All prices are subject to availability and final confirmation from the supplier. Certain airlines permit us as their agent to hold reservations for a certain amount of time without tickets being issued. It is important to note that in these instances, the fares are only guaranteed until 2359 that day and we are not liable in the event of an increase. We, therefore, recommend that tickets are issued on the same day as the reservation. Some airports charge a departure tax, which is payable locally. These charges may not be claimed back from us.

AMENDMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

All flight timings are provisional and subject to change. However you will be advised in advance of any major change as per your supplier's booking conditions. Only in extreme cases will an airline offer a full refund or date change should you not accept the change. On occasions your supplier may find it necessary to alter your any aspect of your holiday. Their policy regarding alterations is set out in their booking conditions.

Should you find it necessary to cancel or amend your holiday, please contact us without delay. Cancellations and amendments require written confirmation by the lead name in the party. Prior to making any changes, please verify any charges bearing in mind that these generally increase the closer you get to departure. In most cases, late cancellation will result in 100% charges.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend Travel Insurance as protection against financial costs or losses in connection with medical treatment and travel inconvenience i.e. cancellation or curtailment and delay, damage or loss of baggage/personal effects.

GOVERNING LAW

Any matters that arise between you and us are governed by the laws applicable in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is also conditional on your agreement that any dispute that arises between you and us will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Dubai, except that we also we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these terms and conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country.
